The Topeka Reading

On May 17, 2004 the Brown Foundation presented a star-studded reading of Now Let Me Fly at The Topeka Performing Arts Center. This reading was the culmination of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka and the dedication of the National Historic Site. However, all A NATION ACTS readings -- whether they occurred in large concert halls, schools, living rooms, cafes, coffee houses, community centers or in the streets -- were important to this event.
